Straight from the frontlines:

It is official, I have started recording my album "305375" last night. I had been in the studio for a few days but couldn't record due to illness. I felt a bit better today and laid down the track 999330.This track was like the sixth or seventh track I wrote for the album. I had been writing 999330 "Anthony Haynes" for about six months when I decided to write a rhyme telling his story. I had read it a number of times and I looked up everything I can find on the Internet about him and his case. After finding some music that made the words flow produced by Engineer out of Vancouver, Canada the rhyme just came out naturally. For me this was proof that it was meant to be.The rhyme is basically just about word for word "Anthony's account" of what happened. I went as far as continuing to back his words with facts. I met with his mother and younger sister who live in Texas. I also met Anthony's grandmother. I went to the court house and read through court transcripts and looked over all of the evidence. I never had reason to doubt him, but I knew somewhere down the road someone would and I wanted to be ready for that.Throughout my years in the criminal justice system I have read over a number of cases. I have also read over a lot of police reports. I have even read ones that were justifying a shooting. When I read Anthony's account of what had happen it struck me real hard that it sounded exactly like a police officer speaking. He felt his life was in danger. After the fact it was learned that it was indeed Anthony's actions that called for his victim to chase after him. But one has to imagine what was going through this confused scared kids mind as he's being chased through the streets, then being trapped in by the victims car. Everything that happen after they both exited their cars and faced off was wrong, but I have to say based on everything I looked over, I don't see how Anthony would have known this guy that was chasing him down was a police officer in plain clothes and in his personal car with a female passenger.
The song is just asking the listener to put your self in the shoes of this young man. 18 years old convicted of capital murder and sentenced to die. This is not a mass murderer, this is a man that made a mistake when he was a teen. It was wrong, but his life is not going to make it right. This track means a lot to me. There isn't a day that passes that I don't recite it and think of Ant. Since the first times I made test recordings in 2006 I have performed it in front of well over 10,000 people in 5 countries. I am hoping to make this song into a full music video. I doubt very much MTV will pick it up, but onloq.com will. Peace and progress. "X"

"999330"
Dedicated to, Anthony Haynes Texas Death Row inmate 999330
Imagine being 18, head full of dreams
everything seems, to being going according to plan
graduated high school at the head of your class
with a full college scholarship, thinking you made it at last
a regular at Sunday mass, till you fell into following the masses
living life fast, like you had easy-access
living just like every other bastard
haphazard, walking around half plastered
praying to God, not knowing Satan’s really your master
walking half a step away from total disaster
then in a flash your life skips to its final chapter
You can almost hear Lucifers laughter
echoing from the here after, cause now you’re captured
waiting to be murdered in cold blood by your captures
your life up until this point doesn’t really matter
they prepared to hook you up to a chemical reactor
sitting on the row, it’s almost time to go
now you know the whole entire world is cold
you’re born alone, to die all alone
now you’re nothing but a number 999330
it’s time the whole world knows that justice doesn’t exist
and we’re all doomed if you don’t stand up to resist
Jesus knows no one deserves to die like this
This is not Gods will, this is politics
It all unfolded like a bad dream, a scene in a movie
five minutes of your life changed your whole destiny
fell into the hands of man kinds worst enemy
you feeling trapped between reality and fantasy
one minute you’re driving around with your friends happily
acting like them cats you seen in menace to society
next second you’re confronted by a man acting rabidly
you were trained to react cause you spent time in the military
you feel your life threatened, no time to think rationally
if you don’t blast first in your hood, you'll die in the street
you seen him reaching for heat, your heart seized to beat
in a blink of an eye his blood covered the concrete
you ain’t even know if you were awake or a sleep
till that cell door slammed shut, and you were forced to see
you been found guilty of murder in the first degree
sentenced to die, and no one sees the crime against humanity

sitting on the row, it’s almost time to go
now you know the whole entire world is cold
you’re born alone, to die all alone
now you’re nothing but a number 999330
it’s time the whole world knows justice doesn’t exist
and we’re all doomed if you don’t stand up to resist
Jesus knows no one deserves to die like this
This is not Gods will, this is politics
a jury sealed your fate, you can see the hate in their face
you can’t help but to think, how they despise your race
now you’re locked in a cage 23 hours a day
and your only hope, is that someone takes a look at your case
but it’s like you’re voiceless, stuck between time and space
and they’re out for revenge, because you made one mistake
it seems like Jesus’ death was in vain
you feel pain, and the guilt strangle’s your brain
as your dehumanized, you no longer have a name
you start to see how the government has society trained
it’s all a game, everyone stands to be blamed
forgiveness has been shot down in flames, all for political gain
man we need change, before it’s to late in the game
cause this scenario is real and the number has a name
Anthony Haynes, I won’t let him die in vain
Father Forgive them, in Jesus' name

sitting on the row, it’s almost time to go
now you know the whole entire world is cold
you’re born alone, to die all alone
now you’re nothing but a number 999330
it’s time the whole world knows justice doesn’t exist
and we’re all doomed if you don’t stand up to resist
Jesus knows no one deserves to die like this
This is not Gods will, this is politics
